What is a Traffic Management Plan Template?

A traffic management plan template is used when planning safe traffic and work zones during roadside construction activities.   • In US, traffic management plans are based on the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD). For construction work, temporary traffic control plans may be used for a brief guideline of the proper code of practice. Although these practices may also vary by state.

How to Use This Template

  1. Gather basic information – Collect all the basic information about the site such as the name of the person conducting the inspection, type of roadway, traffic conditions, and weather or light conditions. Users are also able to add a photo of the site for reference.
